Custom Bowls are made to order. The whole process can take up to 4 months to complete. First the desired thickness and type of wood is cut, this Fresh cut wood is turned on a lathe into the desired shape, then dried for a number of weeks to remove moisture. Then begins the dry turning process to finalize form. Finally the desired finish (color/gloss) is applied using a layering of polyurethane or natural oils.
